Below is a listing of our standard deduction protocols (unless otherwise stipulated):
Reveal fit:
- 13mm is deducted off the given width (allowing for brackets etc.)
- 15mm is deducted off the height.
- Pelmets made 30mm wider than the deducted blind size.
Make size/face fit:
- Made to given size.
- Pelmets to face fit blinds come with 65mm returns, unless otherwise stated.
- Blinds with 63mm slats have 70mm returns, unless otherwise stated.
- Pelmets made 30mm wider than the blind size.
Corner blinds: 50mm slats – 90° internal corner:
- Total of 70mm deducted from butting blind width.
- 13mm deducted from through blind.
- Through blind pelmet – take 45mm off the deducted width.
- Butting blind pelmet – Add 15mm to the deducted blind width.
Corner blinds: 63mm slats – 90° corner:
- Total of 80mm deducted from butting blind width.
- 13mm deducted from through blind.
- Through blind pelmet – take 45mm off the deducted width.
- Butting blind pelmet – Add 15mm to the deducted blind width.
Corner blinds: bay window:
- 35mm deducted from each butting end i.e. 35mm deducted from each ‘end’ blind, with 70mm deducted from ‘central’ blind.
- Pelmets mitred at 5 ⁰ where 2 pelmets join. (Giving combined angle of 45⁰).
